Congratulations to Fr. Waggener: The Latest WRV Priest
It is not often one congratulates a bishop on becoming a priest, but deepest commendations to the former Bishop Robert F. Waggener, now Fr. Alban Waggener, ordained this weekend. Our beloved Bishop THOMAS ordained Fr. Alban rector of Christ Church in Lynchburg, VA.
Fr.Waggener recently served as bishop of the Diocese of the Holy Cross,before becoming the first Continuing Anglican bishop to convert to the Antiochian Orthodox Church's Western Rite Vicariate.
What a wonderful sign of growth and vitality for the WRV.

That's wonderful. The St. Paul's Houston group will be chrismated Nov 10 and their priest ordained the following weekend.
Quite fitting that Fr. Alban was ordained right after the fall Ember Days
