Mel Gibson? Non...
The only thing worse than bad satire is someone who doesn't get it. A reporter for the Canada Free Press got punk'd by a faux blog purportedly maintained by Mel Gibson. For those naifs who couldn't tell immediately, the star of "Braveheart" is not operating a personal, daily blog, much less one where he publicly berates "judeo-secularists."
As everyone knows, only complete losers with lots of time on their hands have blogs....

I wish I had a beard like Mel's.
It's funny you mention his beard: if you compare this picture of Mel with some of the later pictures of Abuna Yesehaq....
If I were to have a beard again, I'd one like ZZ Top! Or at least Met. Anthony Bloom.
But I am being consistent in my statements, Ben.
"Why are they calling her a Nazi? ... Because modern secular Judaism wants to blame the Holocaust on the Catholic Church. And it's a lie. And it's revisionism. And they've been working on that one for a while."

Oh no, nothing long enough to get tangled in a pectoral cross (which should rest on the heart, not the belly.) However - when I have been in a position to grow a beard, I don't get anything beyond what Ignatius of Loyola had. Just as well, I don't want mistaken for John Knox!
The whole controversy over whether the blog is actually Mel Gibson or not reminds me of the controversy over a year ago about a blog of a 'Hollywood Insider' who was supposedly exposing the inner workings of Hollywood, and was an 'A' list actor. All sorts of claims being made from Ben Affleck, Brad Pitt, George Clooney.... I think it turned out not to be?
In any case - if it is Mel: I've got some script treatments, interested? ;)

"Mel," I'm honored. Think you could link my post on your blog before Mel Gibson's lawyers shut you down?
Gratias ago,
