Off-Topic: Abortionist Tiller Takes Communion at ELCA Church
Yes, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) considers the partial birth abortionist "Dr." George Tiller, and his wife, members in good standing. His wife even wrote a devotional for the local church's newsletter at one point.
This website has a picture of the man taking communion.
God have mercy on him and the entire ELCA.

It's really sad how politics are placed before holiness and the pursuit of Salvation. It's heart-breaking when those priests and pastors who actually hold to some form of Sacramentality to the Mysteries don't uphold their holy obligation to withhold the Sacraments from those who are unprepetant and blatantly so. At least I can take comfort in praying for those priests & parishioners, and thank God I am Orthodox (Western rite, btw) where the Sacraments and one's spiritual state to indeed matter.
I loved the quote from Bonhoeffer on the site you had the link to about 'cheap grace'. It's worth hanging onto.
Who cares? It's just bread and a heretical sect.
Well if not ELCA than it could easily be the Episcopalians who have formally (as a church) endorsed abortion rights. Someone explain to me again why we accept their baptisms as being close enough?
